Directly on the lake, the fishing atmosphere at Oli. Close to the camping site at Wendisch, in a relaxing space, it’s possible to enjoy delicious snacks and a good selection of fish dishes.

While doing a bicycle tour around the lake, approx. 34 km, it’s possible to discover many wonderful places – secluded spots and hidden bathing bays.
Tip from Anja Baranowski: Lakeside Resort
The lakeside resort Bad Sarrow offers a wonderful beach feeling and holiday flair. The adjoining restaurant and event location has a lot to offer in culinary delights.
Tip from Sascha Schenk: Rauen
Starting at the base of the Rauen hills, enjoy the expansive view from the observation tower and learn more about the history of the Markgrafen stones.
Tip from Sascha Schenk: Marienhöhe
We continue on to Demeterhof at Marienhöhe, located on a hill of the southern foothills of the Rauener Hills which have been bio-dynamically farmed since 1928.
Tip from Sascha Schenk: Wendisch Rietz
Through the locks towards Berlin via the Storkower Lake or towards Scharmuetzel Lake (Scharmützelsee). Variety of green scenery – Kneipp Park, artist’s studios, a leisure park with petting zoo, plenty of games for the young ones.
Tip from Nicole Gade: Storkow
Culture, nature, games and fun – getting lost in the corn fields or simply enjoying the air of the shifting dunes of the Waltersberge (Walters Hills) – it all comes together here. By boat over the lake, stopping at a bathing bay and at the end of the day, experiencing the companions of the night in the dark times of the Middle Ages by touring the alley ways and the castle.
Tip from Sabine Kopetz: Bad Sarrow Villa Colony
In a horse-drawn carriage at a brisk gallop with Fred Peter or alternatively, leisurely on foot with a local chronicle, wandering through the former villa colony.
Tip from Sabine Kopetz: Bad Sarrow Lake
Enjoy the trip on steamer boat, with the sunshine on your nose, sailing sportily or jetting across the lake in a motorboat.
Tip from Sabine Kopetz: Spa Park Colonnades (Kurpark-Kolonaden)
Strolling through the spa park with an ice cream from the ice cream guerillas in one hand, a coffee from the roasting house in the other and discovering at Kulinarikum a souvenir from Mark Brandenburg for your loved ones. Filling your stomach with Spanish, Italian or fish specialties. Fabulous! (Everything is possible, nothing is mandatory!)????
Tip from Anja Baranowski: Bad Sarrow Culture
Do you fancy culture? Satire at the Theater on the Lake (Theater am See), energetic bands at the school barn, classical concerts in the Scharwenka House, film festival at the Elbenhof, cinema in the colonnades…a difficult, though always a good decision!
Tip from Sascha Schenk: Cecilienpark
In addition to a stunning bathing area, the Cecilienpark in Bad Sarrow, can also surprise young visitors with a great mini-golf course.
